Birthday Shopping Obsession

Well! February has been a busy and exciting month, but I will keep this post short – at least word wise. My thumb is about 90% healed now, and I’ve been able to get back to crafting (a bit.) Down side is I’ve been really sick the whole month as well haha. C'est la vie

The order I placed in July? of last year finally came from Scrapbooking Made Simple.  "It ships when it ships" and finally got here! The savings from the Sizzix sale is worth the wait.

I’ve been working lots of overtime at work, and also had a birthday in Feb and got a little bit of money from grandparents. So I’ve gone on a bit of a shopping spree. Orders from Ellen Hutson, Simon Says Stamp, DeSerres, a few from Amazon… replacement from Speedball, Michaels, Dollarama and Blick.

The 30 day colouring challenge just completed and I was able to play with some of my new goodies! But have not had a chance to turn the images into cards yet I’ll post them later when I get that done.

For now- my craft hauls!!

SMS Sizziz Wearhouse Sale:
Lawn Fawn, Stamps of Life flip it, and Tim Holtz word dies.

Amazon #1: Derwent Watercolour Pencils that were on an awesome sale, and a Doughnut cutter for grandma.

Beautiful stained glass snowflake from my friend!

This is a mix of:
Michaels - hero arts stamp, watercolour paper and some foils

Amazon order #2 - Speedball Lettering and Calligraphy Kit, Black Irresistible Pico Embellisher, some DVD's I didn't include here, and a Sizzix Texturz Impressions Pad

Dollarama - 2 glasses for paint only, ceramic tray for a pallet, and 2 plastic cutting boards to tape my paint projects to

I finally got to DeSerres! picked up:   Daniel Smith masking fluid, Magic pick up (helps remove masking fluid), a white vinyl eraser, kneaded eraser, Faber-Castell Graphite Sketch set, and 3 "really useful boxes" that are long enough for pencil boxes, along with a 6 pack of smaller boxes that fit inside the bigger ones - which is how I am storing my Calligraphy pens/nibs. Oh! and I got some decent paint brushes!

5 Zen paint brushes (1.2 " flat wash, #8 Round, #6 cat tongue, #2 scrubber, #2 round) and a #2 Raphael precision rigger

This was part 2 of my Amazon order, from Dancing nail - came from China, and I am really impressed in the care they took with the packaging! The acrylic was wrapped in bubble wrap, which was inside a box that was wrapped in foam packaging and in a bigger shipping box.

After assembly

I had a small order from Ellen Hutson... I said I went a bit crazy this month! - clearance Memory Box stamp of a bubble wand, Penny Black wizard stamp (it looks so much like Harry Potter, and just fuels that obsession!) 2 House Mouse stamps, Hero Arts set about food, and some clear gift boxes.

Also had a small order from Simon Says Stamp, and got a birthday set as well!
Ordered the new My Kind of Peeps stamps/die set, Sizzix Happy Birthday die, Open Studio Birthday Bunnies stamp/dies, and Wild Rose Studio Bunch of Balloons

Blick - this is one I have been waiting for... Finally got my Brusho crystals, and Kuretake Gansai Tambi 36 Watercolors!!!! and a new glue pen to try.

After all that, I spent some time Friday night catching up on TV (took this while watching an episode of Jessica Jones before bed) and labeling/sorting all my stamps

Ok, so why did I include a nail polish holder in a craft post? Well, it works perfect for my most frequently used embossing powders, glitters and Brusho paints!!

Now to finish cleaning my desk, again, and get crafting...
